Like the Irish 120s, these balls are also good for juggling and footwork. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is I have to have some way of ranking other balls here higher. I bought these balls the same time I got the Irish 120s. I think the performance is comparable, but I like the Irishes better for their size and lighter feel. The Moirs are smaller, but more dense. My favorite advantage of the Moirs is that you can fit quite a few in pants pockets, not so the Irishes.
Can't wait to get my new set in the mail. I've misplaced my previous set and found that nothing can replace them! Everything else seems clumsy after juggling these for some time. You drop them and they stop, ready to be kicked up into a fantastic stall. You can catch them with your fingertips or tops of your feet. These bags are smooth as butter.
These were my first set of "professional" juggling bags and I researched and asked a lot of people what is the best and it down to these and another company and honestly I can say that sponsorship works. I learned both my cascade with balls and clubs from Lund's youtube videos and seeing that he uses them sold me and I couldn't be happier.
These are not fully filled and that makes them very forgiving to poor catches it also makes them soft on the hands, the fabric and filling combination just feels so right when you hold these, I don't know how else to explain it. Just hold one you'll be sold.
Just got my shipment of Plush Puppies juggling balls, along with a handy little carrying bag. I love them. The weight is good, the colors bright and fun, and they're easy to manipulate. Time to get my chops up once again. I've bought juggling balls, footbags, and twiddle sticks (back when Flying Clipper still made them {AND THEY WERE THE BEST!!}--Please make them again). I've always had great luck with Flying Clipper products, and their service is outstanding. Jim is a great guy. Highly, highly, highly recommended!! Did I say highly? I meant it.
I've now owned 4 sets of these bad boys. They are the longest lasting beanbag I've used to date and you can even wash them! They are great for 3 ball, numbers, and passing and are visible from a distance. People always think I'm juggling tennis balls and are surprised to find out they are squishy when they hit the ground. Will be a plush puppy juggler for years to come!
In the past I learned most tricks (3ball cascade, reverse cascade, windmill, shower, mills mess) with hard balls like baseballs/lacrosse balls, and occasionally tennis balls. These "plush" juggling balls have been a lot easier to use as they don't break things when they go flying across the room, or fall on your toes... They are also a bit bigger than I thought (a little larger than a baseball) but are easily caught because they are "squishable". However, they make a lot of noise when juggling as if you are throwing a bag of rice up and down. Besides that, these are a great set a balls that I will recommend to many people in the future.
I purchased three of these balls to help my 7 year old daughter learn juggling. They are a good size for her hands and easy to catch as they are somewhat squishy. Like other Flying Clipper balls they are also machine washable and have a nice dead drop.
I've been using theses balls for one week. They are great for juggling. They feel solid in your hand, they are not to baggy or floppy. The weight makes them feel vary solid in the hand witch is great. The fabric is vary stong and the colors are bright. They are resistant to dirt and stay fairly clean. The stitching is vary strong. The size makes it very easy to hold up to 7 balls in one hand. I have the pro 90s and the PT 12s basicly feel like a mini version. I highly recommend them for learning to juggle any number of balls. They have greatly improved my juggling patterns.
I've had PT 90 Pros for almost 3 years now, and they're absolutely amazing juggling balls. I saw that Flying Clipper is discontinuing the PT 12s, so I decided to order some while I still can. The PT 12s are basically the same as the PT 90s but they're smaller in diameter (the PT 12s are 2.5 inches and the PT 90s are 2.75 inches). They weigh about the same (PT 12s are 120g and PT 90s are 125g). They feel really similar to juggle as the PT 90s, just smaller.
I hope Flying Clipper keeps making the PT 12s!! The PT 90s are a bit big. Although I have small hands (about 7 inches from the tip of my middle finger to my wrist), the PT 90 size never really bothered me because they’re so squishy. In any case, I think that it's good to keep having a mid-size PT juggling ball. That way kids and people with smaller hands can juggle them!
Anyway, if Flying Clipper does discontinue the PT 12s, then the PT 90s are a fantastic option. If you have smaller hands, then try out the PT 12s while you still can! The PT juggling balls have a really unique feel to them that I haven't seen anywhere else, and I love them.
These balls are fun too. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is I have to have some way of ranking other balls here higher. I bought these balls before I got the Irish 120s, and I mostly like the dependable performance and stalls of the Irish's better.
First, our new jugglers always like these better than the Irish's (when they have an opportunity to compare) because the rubber-filled feel so soft, squishy, and comfortable in the hand. I still love them for this. I also like to use these when watching TV or if someone's sleeping in the room because they are quieter than my Irish's
These are also good because I like to do a little foot and knee work with them while I juggle for fun and for exercise. They work admirably this way, but I think the Irish's are technically better because Irish's don't have any bounce any in them.
I think these balls are very versatile, and used to stock up our university juggling club with these before I saw Irish's.
I ordered five PT Pro 90s to practice five ball juggling. While they have a somewhat unusual feel - they've been described as something like marshmellows - I find them very nice to juggle with. As they're partially filled, they seem to be more "forgiving" when they collide on the air and they stall rather nicely. Also, they have a dead drop which makes it a lot more efficient to pick them up. They're machine washable, too, which is an added bonus.
Got them in the mail today, juggled them for about 30-45 minutes and I just ordered more, just now, I think that says something.
I've been juggling off and on for about 25 years, so I've had all kinds of beanbags, both from custom prop makers and from larger juggling supply stores. I'm not going to say these are the best because it's a preference thing, but for a soft and forgiving bag, these have to be on the short list for the best out there.
These are softer than expected and I got the PT90s, so I can't imagine how soft and floppy the PT70s are, which I guess are more for stalls and foot juggling.
With the super soft marshmallow bag, there's a little wobble, but that's offset with the forgiving catch, so no issues there unless you're trying to juggle a really high pattern and even then, it's not a big deal. I originally wanted all white bags, but the solid red looked so true and vibrant in the pictures, I ended up getting a mix of 7 red and 3 white, then my new order today fills that out with 3 red and 7 white (I like to have beanbags all over my house!). The ultra suede has a such a terrific feel, I wish I could shrink myself down and take a nap on these!
Lastly, I'll add that the shipping was a little pricey, but they showed up two days after I ordered them (tracking was included) AND they sent a free carrying sack : ) Thank you!
Ben again, I left a previous review in which I mentioned at the end that the shipping was a little pricey (keep in mind, not a big deal since it was quick shipping and included tracking). Same day I left the review, Flying Clipper reached out via email, had checked their shipping costs and realized a mistake had been made and adjusted the shipping costs for me!
In addition to the PT90s being awesome, I've never received such great customer service before.
Thank you!
I've been juggling nonstop ever since I got my PT 90 Pros two days ago. These are my favorite balls I've ever juggled!! They feel squishy which makes them really easy to catch, but they also feel really solid at the same time, which is a really unique combination. Jim is great and he was super helpful at answering my questions before buying the balls. Also there's fast shipping so what are you waiting for? Go order some PT 90 Pro's and you can be juggling these beauties in the next few days :)
