I have been juggling 5 and more balls since 1985 and got so frustrated with the lack of quality and the lack size/weight options available that I started making my own. Not any more!
Never again will I spend hours of tedious sewing because I have finally found the perfect juggling balls. These beautifully crafted and durable suede balls are the perfect size and weight for numbers juggling. I've also tried the less full ones and they are great also, especially if you're new to numbers juggling - I happen to like em nice and firm. And the price is incredible, I've spent 3 times that much for similar props that were ultimately disappointing.

I'm testing these at 113 Fahrenheit in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) and they rock the casbah! My other props are suffering texture problems from the sweat, heat and humidity, but these invitingly soft Phat Tyre Tossaballs feel fab. I got my first Flying Clipper balls decades ago and they're still whole and hearty. These new puppies arrived feeling like old friends and are surviving show after show after show.
I received my Phat Tyre Pro 90s yesterday and I love them!! They are excellent to juggle with and exactly what I was looking for (something between a squishy beanbag and a more solid, stiffer ball). I flashed up all five of them successfully several times last night, and they feel great plopping back down into my hands. And the weight is perfect and definitely is helping me make more accurate throws. I feel like these will go a long way towards helping me attain the 5 ball cascade I am after in the next month or two. And I love the feel of them. I could just hold one in my hand, tossing it around, stalling it, and squishing it, for hours I think! Also, the electric yellow does indeed glow brightly under a black light, so that's a bonus!!
Thanks for your help, and thanks so much for the bag! I'll almost assuredly be ordering more props from you guys in the future.
This set includes the Classic Dirtbag in its buttery smooth cover and stallability. The Stellar Staller as a great all arounder with the bonus of actually glowing in the dark. The Mega Metal which is beautiful to look at while kicking with its 12 studs shining out, pops are perfection on it. The pouch fits more than 3 footbags, and is velvety soft like the Classic Dirtbag. High quality. Did a lot of research and found this to be the best value in footbags giving a solid feel of different fills of sand and sand/metal and weights and sizes. Very happy with this pack of 3.
I bought the All Star 3 Pack that included the exclusive royal blue/black colorway of the Classic Dirtbag. I was surprised how nice the material and sand fill weight was. This thing is a bargain. Don't let the price fool you though. The cover material on the Classic Dirtbag is velvety soft like suede. The fill is perfect for stalls and kicks, enough flop to make it super pocketable. This thing is basically portable fun, throw it in a backpack, coat pocket, jean pocket and off you go. Washable, hand stitched, 8 panel goodness. It's a classic for a reason, some have had theirs for years and years. As "Toes" says, "happy feet are a good thing," and boy are they happy kicking around this classic.
The Mighty Mite combines the best elements of a bunch of my favorite footbags. It's got sand and some flop like the Classic Dirtbag giving it surprisingly good stalls. Stainless steel fill to give it a nice pop like the Mega Metal. A smaller footprint but still bigger than the Mini Stinger. Kicks are controllable yet forgiving like the Phat Tyre Pro. The perfect mix of size, weight, and fill, the Mighty Mite surprised me in how much I enjoy kicking this thing around. Plays way bigger than it is. Super fast shipping from across the country on all my orders and speedy and helpful communication. Flying Clipper for the win.
The Mini Stinger is ferocious. Such a tiny footbag to throw in a coat pocket, but man this thing packs a punch. It's got a solid solid feel to it, doesn't flop, but still stalls, and man does this thing pop. A real compact controllable springy all stainless steel pop. Great to kick around after something way bigger like the Phat Tyre Pro. Big up to Jim and Flying Clipper for creating so many designs, fills, and weighted footbags. The best out there.
I love bags 1.2"-1.8" so this of course became a favorite bag of mine. Super springy and controllable, but still stalls pretty easily from being 14ish panels, so it doesn't roll off your foot easily. I wish it was like 5 grams lighter, a touch less filler. Other than that, it's still 5 stars I knew it'd have some weight to it.
They were out of stock of one of the bags I ordered online. The company emailed me about. Got it taken care of immediately. They even added a metal filled bag as well. High quality products and services
I bought the blue 42 panel and it is beautiful!!! It came in the mail in just a few days and it feels nice, and looks great. the panels are stitched up nice and no loose or frayed areas at all!! This ones going in my collection! Thank-you "Toes."
Awesome hackie! nice fabric and great bounce off the foot
All it takes-morning dew, one puddle, spilt beer, wet grass- that's all it takes to defeat your dirtbag. But the hydbrid is mighty. I got this as a gift for a friend and we kicked around last week. It started to sprinkle, but we kept on playing. Then it started to pour, and yet, we kept playing. The hybrid had nearly the same touch as when we started. Even though it's not all dirt/sand, the hybrid still has good "stall-ability" and good touch. It has a little more action than a dirt bag, but I like that. It seems very durable so far and I've heard that the fllying clipper guys will back you up. Shipping time was reasonable (I ordered mine on a Thursday and received it down in Texas the following Monday. It's a good value.
My son and I have a blast playing with our Dirtbags. Just the right weight and size. Easy for beginners.
Weight: For the smaller 2.55 size these feel solid and heavy (but not too heavy)
Feel: I read a review that said these balls feel slick but i disagree. The leather finish feels soft and provides good grip while not being too tacky.
Fill: These balls are stuffed to almost full capacity but still provide a little bit of squish. They hit the ground with a solid THUD and don't bounce or roll. I like the round full-feeling of these balls vs. squishy bean bags.
Accuracy: These are my first set of real juggling balls but my throws feel effortlessly accurate compared to juggling tennis balls/other random stuff.
At this odds and ends pricing - these 2.8" balls are an amazing deal. I've been juggling with the synthetic leather hybrids for a few years and love them - but didn't like the "slap" that comes with the catch. These have a soft feel and a firm catch. These are my new favorite juggling balls - I ordered four - and immediately ordered 3 more - so I can keep a set at work!
These are great because I like to do a little foot and knee work with them while I juggle for fun and for exercise. I think these balls are the most versatile, and we've stocked up our university juggling club with these mostly. They make a bit of noise while juggling, which can be good audible feed back while learning to get your timing right for passing, performance, etc.
This is a small tight footbag that is beautiful and professionally put together! All the seams are well approximated (i have a basic military background) and this baby is my new favorite <3
Thank-you for the fast professional service, "Toes!" The footbag arrived in a few days of ordering :-)
People have had theirs for years, so I said why not buy one and see what the hype is about. The Juice 32 is great for kicks, practicing on it has made me better at kicking the sand/metal/rubber fill footbags. A real nice pop thanks to its light weight and plastic pellet fill. Stays nice and round thanks to the 32 panels. I got the red/yellow/green/black colorway and am loving it.
These balls are perfect for numbers! I'm new to 6 and 7 and I feel like with their weight and size I'll have it before no time! These balls are a must if your a numbers juggler looking to improve your game! I'll be sure to send people this way!
Got this as part of the All Star 3 Pack and man oh man. This is up there with the PHAT TYRE PRO for my favorite footbag. The MEGA METAL is more compact than the Classic Dirtbag and Stellar Staller, just by a bit. The cover is also a little tougher. I got the blue/green colorway and as far as looks it's my favorite footbag, the 12 studs make this a real head turner. As far as kicks, it's a very controllable feel, pops are excellent thanks to the stainless steel and sand filler. Stalls are a dream and the fill is exactly perfect.
I thought the original Mega Metal was the best......until I got the PT Pro. The PT Pro was the absolute best until this came along. This is the one footbag to rule them all! It is a combination of the best parts of the Mega Metal and the PT Pro. It stalls like nothing else yet has an amazing pop. It is great for solo and circle play both. I have used almost every footbag made by every manufacturer out there, and this is the best one there is. Period. This is the only footbag I will be using from now on! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Buy one....you will not be disappointed.
Like the Irish 120s, these balls are also good for juggling and footwork. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is I have to have some way of ranking other balls here higher. I bought these balls the same time I got the Irish 120s. I think the performance is comparable, but I like the Irishes better for their size and lighter feel. The Moirs are smaller, but more dense. My favorite advantage of the Moirs is that you can fit quite a few in pants pockets, not so the Irishes.
Can't wait to get my new set in the mail. I've misplaced my previous set and found that nothing can replace them! Everything else seems clumsy after juggling these for some time. You drop them and they stop, ready to be kicked up into a fantastic stall. You can catch them with your fingertips or tops of your feet. These bags are smooth as butter.
These were my first set of "professional" juggling bags and I researched and asked a lot of people what is the best and it down to these and another company and honestly I can say that sponsorship works. I learned both my cascade with balls and clubs from Lund's youtube videos and seeing that he uses them sold me and I couldn't be happier.
These are not fully filled and that makes them very forgiving to poor catches it also makes them soft on the hands, the fabric and filling combination just feels so right when you hold these, I don't know how else to explain it. Just hold one you'll be sold.
Just received the new Phat Tire Pro Juggling props. Wow
Awesome! I hope you continue to manufacture these props. They feel
great and I can now juggle tight-low patterns much easier. Thanks for
the FAST shipping! Dan
Just got my shipment of Plush Puppies juggling balls, along with a handy little carrying bag. I love them. The weight is good, the colors bright and fun, and they're easy to manipulate. Time to get my chops up once again. I've bought juggling balls, footbags, and twiddle sticks (back when Flying Clipper still made them {AND THEY WERE THE BEST!!}--Please make them again). I've always had great luck with Flying Clipper products, and their service is outstanding. Jim is a great guy. Highly, highly, highly recommended!! Did I say highly? I meant it.
I've now owned 4 sets of these bad boys. They are the longest lasting beanbag I've used to date and you can even wash them! They are great for 3 ball, numbers, and passing and are visible from a distance. People always think I'm juggling tennis balls and are surprised to find out they are squishy when they hit the ground. Will be a plush puppy juggler for years to come!
In the past I learned most tricks (3ball cascade, reverse cascade, windmill, shower, mills mess) with hard balls like baseballs/lacrosse balls, and occasionally tennis balls. These "plush" juggling balls have been a lot easier to use as they don't break things when they go flying across the room, or fall on your toes... They are also a bit bigger than I thought (a little larger than a baseball) but are easily caught because they are "squishable". However, they make a lot of noise when juggling as if you are throwing a bag of rice up and down. Besides that, these are a great set a balls that I will recommend to many people in the future.
I purchased three of these balls to help my 7 year old daughter learn juggling. They are a good size for her hands and easy to catch as they are somewhat squishy. Like other Flying Clipper balls they are also machine washable and have a nice dead drop.
I've been using theses balls for one week. They are great for juggling. They feel solid in your hand, they are not to baggy or floppy. The weight makes them feel vary solid in the hand witch is great. The fabric is vary stong and the colors are bright. They are resistant to dirt and stay fairly clean. The stitching is vary strong. The size makes it very easy to hold up to 7 balls in one hand. I have the pro 90s and the PT 12s basicly feel like a mini version. I highly recommend them for learning to juggle any number of balls. They have greatly improved my juggling patterns.
I've had PT 90 Pros for almost 3 years now, and they're absolutely amazing juggling balls. I saw that Flying Clipper is discontinuing the PT 12s, so I decided to order some while I still can. The PT 12s are basically the same as the PT 90s but they're smaller in diameter (the PT 12s are 2.5 inches and the PT 90s are 2.75 inches). They weigh about the same (PT 12s are 120g and PT 90s are 125g). They feel really similar to juggle as the PT 90s, just smaller.
I hope Flying Clipper keeps making the PT 12s!! The PT 90s are a bit big. Although I have small hands (about 7 inches from the tip of my middle finger to my wrist), the PT 90 size never really bothered me because they’re so squishy. In any case, I think that it's good to keep having a mid-size PT juggling ball. That way kids and people with smaller hands can juggle them!
Anyway, if Flying Clipper does discontinue the PT 12s, then the PT 90s are a fantastic option. If you have smaller hands, then try out the PT 12s while you still can! The PT juggling balls have a really unique feel to them that I haven't seen anywhere else, and I love them.
These balls are fun too. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is I have to have some way of ranking other balls here higher. I bought these balls before I got the Irish 120s, and I mostly like the dependable performance and stalls of the Irish's better.
First, our new jugglers always like these better than the Irish's (when they have an opportunity to compare) because the rubber-filled feel so soft, squishy, and comfortable in the hand. I still love them for this. I also like to use these when watching TV or if someone's sleeping in the room because they are quieter than my Irish's
These are also good because I like to do a little foot and knee work with them while I juggle for fun and for exercise. They work admirably this way, but I think the Irish's are technically better because Irish's don't have any bounce any in them.
I think these balls are very versatile, and used to stock up our university juggling club with these before I saw Irish's.
I ordered five PT Pro 90s to practice five ball juggling. While they have a somewhat unusual feel - they've been described as something like marshmellows - I find them very nice to juggle with. As they're partially filled, they seem to be more "forgiving" when they collide on the air and they stall rather nicely. Also, they have a dead drop which makes it a lot more efficient to pick them up. They're machine washable, too, which is an added bonus.
Got them in the mail today, juggled them for about 30-45 minutes and I just ordered more, just now, I think that says something.
I've been juggling off and on for about 25 years, so I've had all kinds of beanbags, both from custom prop makers and from larger juggling supply stores. I'm not going to say these are the best because it's a preference thing, but for a soft and forgiving bag, these have to be on the short list for the best out there.
These are softer than expected and I got the PT90s, so I can't imagine how soft and floppy the PT70s are, which I guess are more for stalls and foot juggling.
With the super soft marshmallow bag, there's a little wobble, but that's offset with the forgiving catch, so no issues there unless you're trying to juggle a really high pattern and even then, it's not a big deal. I originally wanted all white bags, but the solid red looked so true and vibrant in the pictures, I ended up getting a mix of 7 red and 3 white, then my new order today fills that out with 3 red and 7 white (I like to have beanbags all over my house!). The ultra suede has a such a terrific feel, I wish I could shrink myself down and take a nap on these!
Lastly, I'll add that the shipping was a little pricey, but they showed up two days after I ordered them (tracking was included) AND they sent a free carrying sack : ) Thank you!
Ben again, I left a previous review in which I mentioned at the end that the shipping was a little pricey (keep in mind, not a big deal since it was quick shipping and included tracking). Same day I left the review, Flying Clipper reached out via email, had checked their shipping costs and realized a mistake had been made and adjusted the shipping costs for me!
In addition to the PT90s being awesome, I've never received such great customer service before.
Thank you!
I've been juggling nonstop ever since I got my PT 90 Pros two days ago. These are my favorite balls I've ever juggled!! They feel squishy which makes them really easy to catch, but they also feel really solid at the same time, which is a really unique combination. Jim is great and he was super helpful at answering my questions before buying the balls. Also there's fast shipping so what are you waiting for? Go order some PT 90 Pro's and you can be juggling these beauties in the next few days :)
these are some of the best balls I've ever used, they are perfect for learning new tricks. I recommend everyone get them a set!
This footbag is fantastic. Its got a pretty decent weight, definitely a heftier one than the classic DirtBag or typical sand footbag. The rubber pellets inside cushion the metal bb's and also provide a good bit of spring, bounce or pop off of the user's knee or shoe. Great for groups. I'm super happy with this one and it's my go-to for the time being.
The PHAT TYRE PRO kicks like a springy rubber ball, but also stalls like nothing else out there. The weight and size is great because it's forgiving, giving me my highest consecutive kick count and also perfect to use in groups. I got the fluorescent/orange combo and love the way it looks, the tire marks are a nice touch. Props to Flying Clipper for continuing to innovate and come up with this winning fill. This is my favorite footbag of all time.
I've had a set of the LD Pros for a few months now and while I really enjoy those for working on 7, 8, and 9, they feel a little small in my hands for certain other tricks. So I decided on trying a set of these.
Pros: -The quality of the craftsmanship is top notch. -Customer service is always wonderful. -Fabric feels super soft yet durable. Also has great grip. -Size is absolutely perfect for what I'm wanting. Big enough for regular 3-5 ball stuff, while small enough for numbers as well. And they fit magnificently into multiplex patterns. -These are my first balls using the rubber filling, and I gotta say... it's AWESOME. It's probably the softest and smoothest filling I've ever felt. I understand why people have compared juggling these style balls to juggling big marshmallows.
Cons: (kinda) -This is barely a con and I'd give 4 1/2 stars if I could. They were definitely saggier than I assumed they'd be. The site lists them at 90% filled, but looking at them and feeling them it sure seems lower than that. However, I think I'm really liking the way they turned out. There's nothing really wrong with them; they just weren't exactly what I was expecting (not necessarily a bad thing). So for anyone looking to buy these, remember they are a little underfilled.
Overall, I'd recommend these for sure.
FLYING CLIPPER ANSWER: Keith got the last orange balls in inventory and they were a little softer in nature than the usual run but good balls in their own right.
Size weight and feel are great for juggling 5 or more balls. They dont roll at all and are vary easy to catch. They are perfect for juggling practice. The shipping was very fast and customer service was also very helpful and fast at responding.
Only once these were in his hands did my 10 y/o focus on learning to juggle. They feel amazing to the touch, and fit in his pocket so he can -and does- juggle anywhere! He's asked for a 4th for Christmas, but I'm getting 3 more so we can start passing...
Very good quality of balls , they fit perfectly in hand. Very good material to the touch, the weight is great also. I enjoy practicing with them .
My interaction with toss a ball was very informative and helpful the package was delivered on time and I received exactly what I was hoping for I will definitely shop here again
I have been juggling for just over 30 years and I have never had a ballbag like this! The weight, the feel everything about this ball is perfect! Thanks Flying Clipper!!!
I've been juggling and performing professionally for more than 20 years, and these are by far my favorite juggling balls. They have a unique grippy texture that helps prevent them from sliding out of your hand while juggling, and the size looks great on stage. A+
I have been juggling for 23 years. I love these balls. Great weight and balance. Feel solid.
I've been juggling for around 20 years now and just recently got back into the hobby. I can do 5 and am working on 7. My old set of beanbags were pretty trashed so I decided to get some new ones. After trying a friend's set, I was instantly sold on the LD Pros. So far, I'm loving absolutely everything about them. They're very round and go exactly where I want. The filling is smooth with just the right amount of give. And the color is BRIGHT (I got orange). They're great for numbers and multiplexing.
Also, I should mention how awesome Flying Clipper's customer service is. One of the balls I received had a small sewing defect. I emailed Jim about it and he immediately sent me another and told me not to worry about it.
It's safe to say as long as they keep making beanbags, I'll keep buying them.
